Never Too Late

It is never too late to start a Yoga practice!  The important thing is to start right where you are.  Yoga is not a competition.  As our lives evolve, we must keep our bodies' flexibility, strength, and balance.  A few things Yoga helps are:

  • It keeps us healthy in mind and body.

  • It has been proven to reduce stress and boost the immune system.

  • It keeps us flexible and helps us do daily tasks such as driving and looking over our shoulders.

  • It keeps us strong as we get up and down on the floor.

  • It allows us to manage discomfort in our knees and hips. It also can help this discomfort to heal with regular practice.

If you feel intimidated at first, consider a private class. A private class allows the teacher to give you modifications to allow your practice to be safe but challenging.
